A total of 1,128 cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) and 14 deaths were recorded in the last 24 hours across the country. The Ministry of Health and Population shared this information in its regular COVID-19 news bulletin on Friday.
Such number of infection was recorded after the test conducted among 20,989 people. Currently, there are 17,441 active cases of coronavirus in the country.
In the same period, 2,215 infected persons got rid of the virus.
The number of people losing lives to COVID-19 has reached 11,878 in Nepal.
Now, 26,540 infected persons are gaining recovery at home isolation, 991 in the institutional isolation, 206 at ICU and 36 on ventilator support.
