KATHMANDU: A total of 22 new cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the country in the past 24 hours, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.
The new cases were confirmed from 3,835 PCR and Antigen tests conducted in various laboratories across the country during the same period, the Ministry said.
Similarly, 75 infected have enjoyed full recovery in the same period, taking the recovery caseload to 965,469. The recovery rate stands at 98.7 per cent, shared the Ministry.
Currently, there are 1,022 active cases of COVID-19 in the country. No death has been recorded from the deadly infection in the past 24 hours.
Likewise, altogether 15 districts have zero cases of COVID-19. They are Humla, Bajura, Dolpa, Bhojpur and Chitwan, among others.
Meanwhile, 59,543 people have been vaccinated against COVID-19 lately.
