Nepalgunj, Dec 10: The Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist Centre) general secretary Dev Prasad Gurung has said that the party’s ongoing transformation campaign has instilled new hope and excitement in people.
Addressing a programme in Banke on Saturday, Gurung said that the ongoing transformation campaign has succeeded in establishing linkage of the party cadres to the people.
Prior to Banke, the Maoist Centre general secretary attended several programmes in Sudurpaschim, Karnali and Lumbuni provinces.
On the occasion, Gurung shared that most of the people and cadres have opined for making a robust communist force by uniting communist parties.
He viewed that a new and strong communist centre is being formed under the leadership of prime minister and Maoist Centre Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’.
On the occasion, Gurung said that unity among the communist force has no other options in order to defeat the conspiracies hatched against the republican system.
Likewise, Gurung argued that the regressive forces were in pressure due to several good deeds of the incumbent Prachanda-led government and added that the current ruling alliance has been further solidified.
Former chief minister of Lumbini Province and Maoist Centre leader Kul Bahadur KC also spoke at the programme which was organized to review the party’s campaign.
