CPN UML issues whip to vote against Prachanda

Kathmandu, July 10: The Nepal Communist Party (UML) has issued a whip to all it’s members of the House of Representatives to attend the House of Representatives meeting on July 11 and vote against the motion of confidence presented by Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’.

UML chief whip Mahesh Bartaula issued the whip today.

The CPN UML has already withdrew it’s support to the Prime Minister after Nepali Congress and CPN UML decided to form next government under CPN UML leadership.

Both the parties have agreed to from next government under the leadership of UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli.

The next government will be formed in accordance with Article 76(2) of the Constitution. However, the CPN Maoist Centre and Prime Minister Prachanda have argued that the next government will be possible through 76(3) of the constitution which states that the single largest party can form the government.
