Sudurpaschim, March 2: Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Chairperson Rajendra Lingden has called for an alternative option to the current governance system to prevent the country’s condition from further deteriorating.
At a protest rally organized by RPP at Dhangadhi on Sunday, Chairperson Lingden asserted that the country can’t take it anymore and thus saw the need to forge a fresh agreement. Lingden also called for a system wherein the Prime Minister is directly elected by the people and a fully proportional electoral system in the parliament.
The RPP Chairperson said that his party has adopted a pro-monarchy agenda and claimed that such a system will address the country’s problems. Also, speaking in the rally, RPP leader Dr Prakash Chandra Lohani viewed that the country was reeling through political, governance and economic challenges.
Likewise, RPP Spokesperson Gyanendra Shahi emphasized that change in the current governance system to usher country in the right path.#nepal #political #rss
