Kathmandu, Feb 11: Nepal has won the ACC Women’s Premier Cup Cricket match played against Bhutan today. Nepal defeated Bhutan by 8 wickets in this morning’s match at Bayuemas Oval, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Nepal completed the winning target of 66 runs in the 11th over. For Nepal, Sita Ranamagar scored 32 runs and remained unbeaten while Rubina Chhetry Belbasi remained unbeaten on 17 runs. When opener Kabita Kunwar was dismissed for five runs, captain Indu Barma returned to the pavilion scoring one run.
Before that, Bhutan lost the toss and was invited to bat first, and added 65 runs by losing 4 wickets in the 20 over match. Ngawang Choden scored 25, Tshering Zangmo scored 16 and Dechen Wangmo (c)(wk) added 17 runs.
Kabita Kunwar, Sita Rana Magar, Indu Barma and Kabita Joshi took one wicket each for Nepal.
Nepal defeated Hong Kong by 8 wickets in the first match on Saturday. Nepal will play against Maldives on Tuesday, 13th February, at YSD UKM Oval, Bangi, Malaysia.
