ADSoN announces “We Are All Able” charity golf tournament

Kathmandu, April 3: The Ability Development Society of Nepal (ADSoN) has announced the 10th edition of its flagship annual fundraising event, the “We Are All Able” Charity Golf Tournament. The event is scheduled to take place on Saturday, May 23, 2026 (Jestha 9, 2083) at the prestigious Gokarna Golf Club.

Marking a significant milestone, ADSoN has extended a warm invitation to golfers, corporate partners, development organizations, well-wishers, and supporters to join a shared mission of empowering Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) through inclusive education, rehabilitation, and sustainable livelihood opportunities.

Established in 2014, ADSoN has been actively working to uplift underprivileged children and individuals with disabilities by improving access to education, healthcare, vocational skills, and sustainable income-generating opportunities. The charity golf tournament serves as a key platform for resource mobilization and awareness, helping expand the organization’s impactful initiatives.

This year’s tournament aims to further empower Persons with Disabilities through inclusive and sustainable approaches such as organic farming and vocational training, promoting economic independence, dignity, and social inclusion within their communities.

Impact highlights from previous editions include:

  • Over 100 students supported through scholarships to continue their education
  • 315 blind and visually impaired (BVI) students provided with Braille and tactile learning materials
  • Dozens of individuals with disabilities benefiting from nutritional support programs
  • Several beneficiaries receiving essential medical treatments, surgeries, and assistive devices
  • 67 individuals trained in organic vegetable farming and poultry farming, with 32 currently engaged in income-generating agricultural businesses

With continued support from donors and partners, ADSoN has positively impacted hundreds of lives, creating pathways toward independence and inclusion.

According to Nirmala Gyawali, Public Relations & Fund Development Manager, ADSoN has invited individuals, corporate houses, organizations, and community members to participate in the tournament, sponsor the event, and contribute through donations.

Every swing counts—bringing hope, dignity, and opportunity closer to those who need it most, ADSoN said in a statement. #nepal #charity #golf
