WASHINGTON DC: Nepal’s Ambassador to the United States Dr. Yuva Raj Khatiwada and Governor at the US State of Massachusetts Charlie Baker have discussed ways to deepen relations between the two countries.
During the meeting, issues related to trade and investment promotion, education and cultural exchange between Nepal and the United States were discussed. Massachusetts is considered one of the important State for American history, academic and industrial development.
Meanwhile, the US State of Massachusetts has honored Nepal’s Ambassador to the US Dr Yuva Raj Khatiwada.
Dr Khatiwada also paid courtesy call on Senate Chairman of the State Ronald Mariano and Vice Chairman William A. Brownsberger.
The letter of appreciation was given to him for his role as public service and strengthening the relationship between Nepal and the United States.
Ambassador Khatiwada also met with Cambridge Mayor Sumbul Siddiqui. During the meeting, Mayor Siddiqui gave a key to the city and welcomed Ambassador Khatiwada.
During the meeting, issues related to establishing sister city relationship between a city in Nepal and Cambridge.
