Auditor General submits annual report to President Paudel



Kathmandu, May 26: The 61st annual report of the Auditor General has been submitted to President Ram Chandra Paudel. Auditor General Toyam Raya submitted a report to President Paudel at a program held today at President’s Office, Sheetal Niwas.

On that occasion, President Paudel expressed his belief that in the context of increasing the work of the Auditor General, there will be a thorough examination of whether the government assets have been properly utilized and whether there have been any irregularities or damages.

He mentioned that the matters exposed in the report will alert the related agencies and stakeholders about financial procedures and responsibility. He also expressed his belief that the Auditor General will contribute to the enhancement of economic and financial accountability, transparency and integrity in the country by complying with the rights and responsibilities entrusted by the Constitution and the law.
