Body of missing child found



            Galeswar, Sept 30 : The body of one of the two children who were swept away by the Kot river in Beni municipality-2 has been recovered. The two had been missing since being swept away by the flooded river on Saturday night.

            Ten-year-old Prabina Pariyar and eight-year-old Anuska Pariyar had gone missing after sudden heavy rain triggered floods in the river. The body of Prabina was recovered on Sunday evening in Maldhunga area of the river, according to the District Police Office.

            The fate of Anuska is not yet known. The two children were guests at the house of Maya Pariyar in Bagarphant.

            Meanwhile, flood water from the river also fully damaged three houses and partially damaged another three houses in Bagarphant. Furthermore, the 18-room building of Buddha Academy at the same location was fully damaged by the floods.
