Kathmandu: The British Army Chief of Staff General Sir Mark Carleton-Smith has arrived here in Kathmandu on Saturday on the invitation of Nepal Army. He will stay in Nepal for seven days.
According to Nepal Army, General Smith will meet with the President Bidya Devi Bhandari and Army Chief Purna Bahadur Thapa. He will visit Nepal Army’s Headquarter of Western Division, Birendra Peace Training Center and some important touristic places, including Pokhara.
