KATHMANDU: The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) has issued an updated seven point COVID-19 health and quarantine rules for the international passengers.
According to CAAN, all international passengers flying from abroad must have medical certificate with a negative RT-PCR or equivalent testing (Gene Xpert/True NAAT) report with photo identification and Barcode/QR code issued by the registered COVID-19 labs of respected countries.
The passengers must posses the printed barcode after filling up ARMS (Abroad Returnee Management System) forms, and passengers with a complete vaccination certificate can go home for the 10 days home isolation.
Likewise, airline crew members are subjected to the Health Protocols developed by concerned airlines as the ICAO guidelines, and all those, spending their quarantine in the hotel/home, have to to RT-PCR tests on the 7th and 11th day of their arrival.
