Kathmandu, July 31: At present, the monsoon is affecting the country. According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology Weather Forecast Division, monsoon low pressure line is located to the northern area to the west and around to the east.
Due to this nature of weather, there is partial to normal rainfall across the country, some places in Gandaki and Lumbini provinces and one or two places in Koshi, Bagmati and Sudurpaschim provinces are experiencing mild to moderate rainfall.
In the afternoon, there will be partly to partly cloudy skies across the country. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain in some hilly areas and few places in the rest of the country.
There is also a possibility of heavy rain with thunder and lightning at one or two places in Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces. A possibility of windstorm at few places in Lumbini and Sudurpaschim provinces will occur.
Likewise, there is also a possibility of heavy rain with thunder and lightning at one or two places in Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini regions during the night.
