KATHMANDU: Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Hou Yanqi has called on Chairman of the CPN (Maoist Center) Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’. Ambassador Yanqi reached Prachanda’s residence in Khumaltar, Lalitpur at 9 am on Monday.
Confirming the meeting, a leader close to Prachanda said that current political issues were discussed. In the past, when there was a dispute in the then ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP), her activism used to increase.
Ambassador Yanqi met Prachanda for the first time after the apex court annulled the unity between CPN (UML) and CPN (Maoists).
