Chinese Foreign Minister Wang visits Chandragiri

Kathmandu, Sept 9: Visiting Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi visited Chandragiri on Monday morning.

Minister Wang, who arrived Kathmandu on Sunday evening for foreign minister-level talks, has reached the southern top of the Kathmandu Valley for sight-seeing.

Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi in Chandragiri, Kathmandu on Sept 9, 2019. He was accompanied by Chandra Dhakal, Founder and Chairman of the Chandragiri Hills Ltd.

Presently a cable car service is available to Chandragiri and he used the service to visit the site.

Chairman of Chandragiri Hills Limited and Vice President of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Chandra Prasad Dhakal, General Manager of Chandragiri Hills Limited Abhishekh Bikram Shah and Founders Hemraj Dhakal and Ambika Prashad Poudel welcomed Wang in the Hills.

Chandragiri has become one of the popular destinations for international delegates coming to Kathmandu. Wang has managed to visit Chandragiri despite his busy schedule.

The Chinese Minister arrived at the invitation of Minister for Foreign Affairs, Pradeep Kumar Gyawali.
