CIB arrests four more people on charges of Lalita Niwas land case



Kathmandu, June 27: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CIB) of Nepal Police has arrested four more people accused in Lalita Niwas land embezzlement case.

The CIB, which arrested Min Bahadur Gurung, the owner of Bhatbhateni Supermarket, arrested the then employees of the Department of Land Reforms and Management and Malpot Office at Dillibazar.

Kaladhar Deuja, then head of the Malpot Office, Dillibazar, employees Surendraman Kapali, Dharma Prasad Gautam and Hupendramani KC were arrested from different places in Kathmandu.

From 2049 to 2066 BS, they worked in the Department of Land Reforms and Management in Dillibazar. It has been revealed in the investigation of CIB that government land has been usurped by buying government documents in collaboration with political, administrative, commercial and land mafia.
