Kathmandu, March 22: Nepali Congress will vote in favour of Chief Minister of Bagmati Province, Shalik Ram Jamkattel. The Nepali Congress Bagmati Provincial Assembly Parliamentary Party meeting held in Kathmandu on Wednesday afternoon decided to give a vote of confidence to Jamkattel.
According to the Congress, it has been decided to form the government according to the consensus of the coalition of parties including the Congress-Maoist Centre at the center.
After the RPP left the government in Bagmati, Chief Minister Jamkattel has decided to take vote of confidence as per the constitutional provision. A state assembly meeting has been called for Wednesday, however Congress MPs were absent today.
