KATHMANDU: A meeting of the top leaders of the ruling coalition held at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar has agreed not to change the ministers immediately.

A discussion was held between Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, CPN (Unified Socialist) Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal and Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP) Chairman Upendra Yadav in Baluwatar this morning.

During the discussion, it was agreed not to change the ministers immediately.

According to a Baluwatar source, there is an agreement not to change the minister as there will be a ministerial discussion on the budget in the parliament and the ministers will also have to respond queries from the lawmakers.

Earlier, CPN (Unified Socialist) have submitted a new list of party leaders to the Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba to change ministers. A meeting of the party had decided to replace ministers Prem Bahadur Ale, Ram Kumari Jhankri, Kishan Shrestha and Birodh Khatiwada.

However, Prime Minister Deuba was not interested to change ministers as of now. Instead, he requested the ministers to continue their job as before.
