Nawalparasi, Oct 5: The construction of the first trauma centre outside the federal capital Kathmandu has started at Bardaghat in Paschim Nawalparasi.
The construction of the health facility is being carried out at the cost of some Rs 120 million. The investment will be borne by the federal government.
Mayor Shambhu Lal Shrestha said that the construction of the trauma center generated hope for better health sector at Bardaghat. With the construction of the trauma centre, the locals will be benefited with the quality health service.
The Minister of Health Pradip Paudel and lawmaker Binod Chaudhary recently laid the foundation of the construction of trauma centre.
Deadline for accomplishing the undertaking is January 2026. #trauma #health
