Coronavirus taking toll: 21 deaths and 3,637 new cases

Kathmandu: The Ministry of Health and Population has recorded 3,637 new cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours. With this, the case load has reached 148,509 in the country.

Ministry Spokesperson Dr Jageshwor Gautam informed that in the last 24 hours, 3,215 people recovered their normal health. The total recovery now stands at 102,820.

Currently, there are 44,877 active cases of coronavirus across the country.

Similarly, the total RT PCR tests have reached over 1.35 million. In the last 24 hours, the Ministry recorded 21 deaths caused by the COVID-19. It reached the total fatality to 812.

Moreover, there are 44,877 persons staying in isolation and 3751 in quarantines.

According to the Ministry, a total of 290 patients are admitted in ICU and 77 in ventilators across the country.
