KATHMANDU: A total of 382 new cases of COVID-19 have been registered in the country in the past 24 hours.
The cases were identified while carrying out tests on 20,959 individuals across the country. The number of active cases is now 4,969.
In the past 24 hours, 252 individuals have recovered from the virus, taking the total number of recoveries to 812,210, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.
Likewise, no COVID-related death was reported in the country in the past 24 hours.
At present, Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Bhaktapur districts have more than 500 active cases each while Sunsari, Kaski, Banke and Kailali have 200 plus active cases of the virus.
There are no active cases of the virus in Solukhumbu, Rasuwa, Manang, Mustang, Humla, Mugu and Bajura districts.
The number of people staying in isolation facilities is 4,728 while 89 COVID patients are receiving treatment in ICU beds and 27 others are in ventilator support.
The Ministry said that 59,112 people received the anti-COVID vaccines in the past 24 hours.
