Kalikot, June 8: A couple was killed and a person injured when a jeep skidded off the road and plunged into the local Sera rivulet at Sera of Raskot Municipality-2 in Kalikot district.
The deceased have been identified as Man Bahadur Shahi, 43, and his spouse Man Kumari Shahi, of Raskot Municipality-1, said Inspector Subaraj Bam.
Preparations were underway to airlift Rita Shahi injured in the accident to elsewhere on a helicopter, he said. The Bolero jeep (Ba 1 Cha 4641) was headed to Jite from the Bus Park in Raskot.
