KATHMANDU, Dec 03: Another 13 people have died from the coronavirus infection in the last 24 hours. At the same time, the number of deaths due to corona infection in Nepal has reached 1,551.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 809 males and 534 females have been infected in the last 24 hours.
In 24 hours period, there were 282 infected people in Province No. 1, 51 in Province No. 2, 651 in Bagmati, 147 in Gandaki, 154 in Lumbini, 14 in Karnali and 44 in Far Western Province. The number of people recovered from coronavirus in Nepal has reached 220,272. The corona recovery rate has reached 92.7 percent.
Of the infected, 10,271 are in home isolation, according to the Ministry. Three hundred and eighty-eight people are being treated in the intensive care unit and 65 in the ventilator.
Manang and Dolpa have become corona free, while more than 500 are actively infected in Jhapa, Morang, Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, Lalitpur and Kaski district.
