Kathmandu. A total of 2,111 new cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the country in the past 24 hour taking the COVID-19 caseload to 206,353 till date.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, altogether 168,129 COVID-19 patients have got full recovery till date taking the number of active cases of the coronavirus infection to 370,22 in the country.
In the last 24 hours, a total of 3,537 COVID-19 patients recovered for the disease and returned home.
Similarly, Kathmandu Valley witnessed 1,207 new COVID-19 cases during this period, the Ministry stated.
Among them, 1,919 were from Kathmandu, 180 from Lalitpur and 108 from Bhaktapur district. Altogether 453 people have lost their lives to this deadly infection in the Kathmandu Valley so far.
The death toll from this flu-like infection across the country stands at 1,202 with 13 fresh fatalities reported in the last 24 hours, according to the Ministry.
