KATHMANDU: The Ministry of Health and Population has recorded 2,444 new cases of COVID-19 in the latest update. A total of 15,033 samples were tested during the same period.
Similarly, 313 infected persons got recovery in the last 24 hours. It reached the total recovery at 814,798 as of now. The recovery rate is 97.5 per cent.
Likewise, a person succumbed to the flu-like infection in the last 24 hours. The total fatality caused by COVID-19 reached 11,607 till date. The fatality rate stands at 1.4 per cent.
There are currently 9,522 active cases of COVID-19 in Nepal.
Meanwhile, a total of 180,457 persons got vaccines against COVID-19 in the last 24 hours.
