KATHMANDU: The country has recorded 317 new cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the new cases were detected from 12,653 sample tests.
Likewise, 279 individuals recovered from the virus during the same period. With this, the number of recoveries reached 797,059 in the country. According to the Ministry, the country reported six COVID-19 related deaths in the past 24 hours taking the total death toll to 11,496.
Similarly, the number of active cases in the country is 7,535. Of them 7,010 are in home isolation, 525 in institutional isolation, 188 in ICU and 54 others are with ventilator support.
In the last 24 hours, a total of 4,516 people received COVID vaccine.
