KATHMANDU, Dec 24: A further 613 people were infected with the coronavirus on Friday. In the last 24 hours, 5,510 RT-PCR tests have confirmed the infection in 613 people, including 233 women and 380 men.
At the same time, the number of infected people in Nepal has reached 256,592.
According to Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 739 people were recovered from COVID-19 in the last 24 hours. The total number of recovered has reached 247,400. The number of active cases remain 7,384 so far.
The ministry informed that a total of 1,896,250 RT-PCR tests have been carried out. So far, nearly 400 people are in quarantine.
Five more died in 24 hours from corona infection. So far, the death toll from corona infection has reached 1,808.
