KATHMANDU, Dec 30: A further 511 people were infected with the coronavirus on Wednesday. In the last 24 hours, RT-PCR tests have been carried out of 5,110 people. The total number of those infected so far has reached 260,059.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, another 600 people have recovered in the last 24 hours. Including this, the number of people recovering from coronavirus has reached 251,912.
The death toll from the coronavirus infection rose to 1,847, with seven more dying from the infection today.
