Janakpurdham, April 4: The CPN UML affiliated ministers in the Madhesh Province government have resigned. UML ministers submitted their resignation letter to Chief Minister Saroj Kumar Yadav.
The ministers tendered their resignation were Saroj Kumar Yadav as Minister of Physical Infrastructure Development, Mohammad Jaid Alam as Minister of Women, Children, Youth and Sports, Shatrudhan Prasad Singh as Minister of Home and Communications, Rajkumar Lekhi as Minister of Law, Justice and Provincial Assembly Affairs and Keshav Rai as Minister of State for Home and Communications.
On Monday night, Chief Minister Yadav called all the UML ministers to submit their resignations.
Yadav, the leader of Janata Samajbadi Party, was appointed as the Chief Minister after the UML gave its support. With new coalition, Chief Minister Yadav will take vote of confidence again within one month. Now, the Nepali Congress, Loktantrik Samajbadi Party (LSP), CPN (Unified Socialist) will join in the government.
