Kathmandu, March 24: CPN UML has decided to make Suhang Nemwang a candidate in the by-election of the member of the House of Representatives of Ilam-2.
The secretariat meeting held at the party headquarters Chyasal on Sunday decided to make Nemwang a candidate. The constituency became vacant after the death of UML Vice Chairman and Constituent Assembly Speaker Subash Chandra Nemwang on Bhadra 26, 2080 BS.
Bye-elections will be held in that region on the 15th of Baisakh. UML has decided to make Suhang, the youngest son of late Nemwang, a candidate. Suhang, who is working as a legal practitioner, has already started his activities for the election.
Similarly, Daman Bahadur Bhandari from Bajhang State Assembly 1, who is also the district chairman of the party.
The other parties including Nepali Congress, Rastriya Swatantra Party, CPN Unified Socialist, CPN Maoist Centre have not declared their candidates. #Nepal
