Kathmandu, June 7: Currently busy actor, director and playwright Dayahang Rai has been signed for a new Nepali feature film. He has been signed for the ‘Karsang‘ which is produced under the banner of Yarsa Films.
The film will be written and directed by Yam Sherpa. Purushottam Pradhan has been roped in as cinematographer for the film.
According to the production side, 90 percent of the film will be shot in Bahrabise Municipality-6 and the rest in Bhotekoshi.
Director Sherpa said that other actors and technicians of the film will be finalized soon. “The remaining actors of the film will be selected through auditions”, said Sherpa. He revealed that the film will be based on social story. This is director Sherpa’s debut directorial film. He has directed many short films before.
Dayahang Rai’s latest film Tulkee is on cinema halls across the country.
