KATHMANDU, Nov 30: The demonstration for the restoration of monarchy, establishing Nepal as Hindu nation and rejection of federal system have taken place in Kathmandu on Monday.
Participants of the demonstration in the name of Rastriya Shakti Nepal Valley Demonstration Organizing Committee has carried placards with a picture of Prithvi Narayan Shah, the founder king of Nepal.
Protesters also carried national flags. According to spokesperson of Rastriya Shakti Nepal, Anil Yogi, thousands participated willingly in the demonstration.
Participants of the demonstration from Maitighar to New Baneshwar also chanted slogans in favour of former King, and save the country.
The Rastriya Shakti Nepal have been organizing nationwide protests. In recent days, they organized similar protests in Pokhara, Butwal, and other places where a significant number of people gathered.
