Kathmandu: The Department of Tourism has granted permission to 25 teams for mountain expedition for the autumn season.
According to the Department, a total of 19 teams have applied for the expedition of Mt Manaslu (8163 m) upto September 4, 2022. Other teams include as 1 for Mt Dhaulagiri (8167m), 2 for Mt Himlung Himal (7126m), 1 for Mt Nupse (7855m), 1 for Mt Everest (8848.86m) and 1 for Mt Saribung (6346m).
A total of 183 men and 54 female will try their luck to ascend the mountains. The Department has collected NRs 29 million as revenue.
