KATHMANDU: Dr. Devendra Bahadur Khatri has been promoted to the rank of Major General of the Nepal Army.
As per the decision of the Council of Ministers on December 30, Dr. Khatri has been promoted to the rank of Major General in technical field. According to the Nepal Army, Dr. Khatri was given the rank insignia by Chief of Army Staff Purnachandra Thapa at a function held at Army Headquarter on Friday.
The Army has also stated that Dr. Devendra Bahadur Khatri has been posted as Director General in the Directorate General of Health. Officers of the Nepal Army were present at the insignia ceremony.
