Gandaki, Jan 22: Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel has said the present government would last longer.
Finance Minister who is also the UML leader said it while addressing a gathering of active cadres of his party in Pokhara on Wednesday. The party would not only keep intact the government but also make it successful and result-oriented, he added.
The government is working actively for the political stability and service to the people. So, it is acting as per the seven-point agreement held between the Nepali Congress and the UML.According to him, the government brought the ordinances to ensure prompt and smooth public services.
The ordinances would be passed by the parliament, he hoped, adding that government was committed to good governance and development. Moreover, he claimed the public trust in UML was growing of late. Paudel directed the cadres to devote to the campaign of making party a defining power.
UML standing committee member and former chief minister of Gandaki Province, Khagaraj Adhikari, said the government should move ahead in a resolute manner for national unity, constitution and protection of democracy.
He shared that the party had launched a three-month long campaign focusing ward to reach party and its policies at people’s doorsteps. #nepal #Finance #economic ,RSS
