Makwanpur, Feb 13: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Urban Development, Prakash Man Singh, has said the government was at work for effective public service.
Addressing the cadres’ meet organized by the Nepali Congress at Hetauda city on Thursday, DPM Singh, who is also the NC leader, reminded that the coalition government of NC and UML was working actively to ensure smooth and effective public service and strengthen federal democratic republic.
Economic prosperity and physical infrastructure are other priorities of the government, he said, adding that the ordinances were brought in line with this very priority. The ordinances would provide impetus to the development works.
He underlined the need of coordination and cooperation among leaders and cadres to strengthen the party organization.
On the occasion, NC district president in Makwanpur, Buddha Lama, said the coalition government needs to address people’s needs. NC’s strict adherence to the party policy is equally important, he added.
NC central member and Minister for Economic Affairs and Planning at Bagmati Province, Kundan Raj Kafle, Bagmati Province President of NC, Indra Baniya, and other leaders expressed their views to consolidate party organization.
