Tanahu, Dec 12: Leader of the Nepali Communist Party (NCP) and former minister, Pampha Bhusal, has said the upcoming election to the House of Representatives would help clear hurdles facing national politics.
The country catches a right track after the election scheduled for March 5, she said while addressing a unity assembly her party organized in Damauli on Friday. Adverse situation would fizzle out once the HoR election is held successfully, she reiterated.
She informed that NCP would participate in the forthcoming election, but government must create an atmosphere conducive to voting. It is government’s responsibility to hold a free and fair election to which all parties need to cooperate, Bhusal underlined.
Leader Bhusal said, “The Gen Z protest caused a messy situation. The March 5 election should therefore be made successful. It would protect constitution and bring the nation to a right track.”
The constitution brought after much struggle and sacrifice must be protected, according to her.In the programme, leader Shreenath Baral said the country needs stability, for which the communists were united. Good governance is equally urgent.
