Kathmandu, Sept 4: The Facebook and WhatsApp apps have been stopped working from today evening in laptops of many users, connected to Nepal Telecom services.
The government has instructed to Nepal Telecommunications Authority (NTA) to block social media sites in Nepal who fail to register in Nepal. Amid widespread criticism, the government was adamant to enforce it’s decision.
Meanwhile, a report says that the META has inquired the officials at the Ministry of Communication about the necessary documents to register in Nepal’s competent government agency. #facebook, #whatsapp #META
