Kathmandu, July 17: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) Governor Bishwanath Paudel has made it clear that there was no problem in functioning of NRB with the induction of finance secretary to the NRB board of directors.
At a preliminary discussion organized by the Finance Committee of the House of Representatives on a Bill designed to amend NRB Act, 2058, Governor Poudel on Friday said finance secretary’s presence in NRB board had facilitated NRB functioning.
“NRB has not experienced any intervention from finance secretary, but resulted in effectiveness in the NRB activities,” he argued. Poudel further said it has assisted in better communication and seeking approval from the government. #nepal #rss
