Fire broke out in Dhangadhi market, heavy loss recorded



Dhangadhi, Nov 18: A terrible fire broke out in Dhangadhi, the district headquarter of Kailai at around 1 o’clock last night.

Eight shops, including Sarathi hospital, were badly damaged when a fire broke out in the middle of the night in a warehouse of shoes and slippers operated by Dal Bahadur Bhandari.

Superintendent of Police, Kailali District, Devendra Pal informed that the details of the damage caused by the fire that broke out at one o’clock in the night have not been received yet.

Madhumala Devi Shop, Bhatt Shopping Center, Subhiksha Devi Shopping Center, New Sadiksha Enterprises, Bhandari Shopping Center, Sarathi Hospital and Bhatt Traders and Suppliers have been damaged in the fire.

After the fire, 2 fire fighters of Dhangadhi sub-metropolitan municipality, one of Godavari municipality, and one of Punarwas municipality of Kanchpur were involved to control the fire.

Now, the fire have been extinguished and the police is taking details of the damage. However preliminary report say that the fire damaged materials woth millions of rupees.
