MALANGAWA, Dec 14: A fire broke out in a garment warehouse in Hariwan Municipality of Sarlahi last night causing a loss of Rs 10 million.
According to DSP Madan Kunwar, spokesperson at the District Police Office, more than Rs. 10 million of property destroyed. The warehouses of Sanjaya Sah, Kailash Sah and homes of Kamal Karki and Mahesh Sah have been damaged.
The fire broke out in a clothing warehouse and shop at 12:40 last night. The fire was brought under control at 2:20 pm with the help of Nepal Police, Armed Police Force, locals and fire brigade.
The house was partially destroyed and the clothing store was completely destroyed by the fire, police said. The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
