Kathmandu, Nov 30: First Microfinance Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha, Nepal, has proposed a 15% dividend for the fiscal year 2079/80 BS.
The meeting of the board of directors held on November 29 decided to distribute the 15% dividends on the paid-up capital of Rs. 1.14 Arba. According to sources, the company will distribute 7.5% as bonus shares and 7.5% as cash dividend (tax purposes). The Company will distribute Rs. 8.60 crores as dividend.
The dividend will be distributed only after approval by the central bank and endorsement by the company’s upcoming Annual General Meeting.
