Kathmandu, Jan 4: Fog and mist are expected to prevail in most parts of the Tarai region today.
According to the 8:00 am bulletin issued by the Meteorological Forecasting Division, partial cloudiness is likely in the hilly and Himalayan regions of Koshi Province, as well as in the high hill and mountainous areas of Bagmati, Gandaki, and Karnali Provinces. Weather conditions will remain mainly fair in the rest of the country.
The Division has also forecast the possibility of light rain and snowfall at one or two locations in the high hills and mountainous regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Karnali Provinces.
Later tonight, fog is expected to continue in many parts of the Tarai. Partial cloudiness will persist in the hilly and Himalayan regions of Koshi Province and in parts of Gandaki and Karnali Provinces, while the remaining areas will see mainly fair weather.
There is also a chance of light rain and snowfall at isolated places in the high hills and mountainous regions of Koshi and Karnali Provinces.
The Division stated that the current weather pattern is being influenced by westerly winds across the country. #weather #Nepal
