KATHMANDU: Former King Gyanendra Shah and former Queen Komal Shah, who were admitted to Norvic International Hospital due to coronavirus infection, are being treated with oxygen support.

They were admitted to Norvic Hospital at 1 pm on Saturday. The former king and queen have been treated with oxygen support to prevent respiratory problems, which is common mostly with the COVID patients, Norvic says.

Former Princess Prerna Shah, who was admitted to the hospital with them, did not have to be given oxygen support, the hospital said in a statement.

The doctors involved in the treatment said that the condition of all the three was normal and stable. All three were diagnosed with coronavirus infection a few days ago after they participated in Kumbh Mela at Haridwar of India.
