Former King Gyanendra Shah infected with COVID-19

KATHMANDU: Former King Gyanendra Shah and his wife Komal Shah have been diagnosed with COVID-19 infection.

After bathing in the Ganges at Haridwar, India, and participating different religious programs, they returned home and tested for corona infection. A source in the Ministry of Health and Population said that their report was positive in the test.

A ministry source said that contact tracing has been started for them.

In India itself, many people who participated in the Kumbh Mela at Haridwar were diagnosed COVID-19.
