MYAGDI: Four people have been killed in a jeep accident at Raghuganga rural municipality-1 in the district.
The jeep (Ga 1 Ja 7251) heading towards Beni has met with an accident at a place called Aunla.
The deceased have been identified as Gaumaya BK, 30, jeep driver Dudh Bahadur Thapa, 35, Khimu Pun, 30, and Khimananda Sharma, 45, according to Police Inspector Birendra Raj Gurung.
They are all residents of a place called Beg in ward no. 1 of rural municipality.
Pun and Sharma died on the spot while driver Thapa and BK died on the way to hospital. The injured have been taken to Manipal Teaching Hospital in Pokhara, Kaski for treatment.
The accident took place when the jeep fell about 300 meters below the road.
