Kathmandu: Nepali Congress General Secretary Gagan Thapa has won in Kathmandu Constituency No. 4 before final vote count. He has has taken wide lead with CPN-UML’s Rajan Bhattarai. However, nearly six thousands votes still have to be counted.
So far, 43,396 votes have been counted in this Constituency. Nearly, 48,000 votes were cast here. However, Gagan’s lead has reached 6,834.
According to latest figures, Gagan has received 20,417 votes while UML’s Bhattarai has got 13,032 votes. Similarly, RPP got 3,693 votes and Lauro (stick) symbol got 1,133 votes. However, Gagan has to wait for some time for the official declaration of victory.
