Kathmandu: CPN (UML) has expelled the permanent committee members Ghanshyam Bhusal and Prabhu Sah from the party.
Leader Prithibi Subba Gurung informed that Bhusal and Sah have been removed from the party for working against party manifesto in the general election of 2022.
After CPN UML failed to stand for Ghanashyam Bhusal in Rupandehi district, he contested election with the support from four party ruling coalition, but he lost the election.
Likewise, Prabhu Sah contested election as an independent candidate from Rautahat and won the election with the support from CPN (Maoist Center) and other parties.
Similarly, the party expelled Upendra Shah (Rautahat), Kundan Kushwah (Rautahat), Rampreet Ram (Siraha), Badri Neupane (Sarlahi), Rita Sah (Sarlahi), Ganga Chaudhary (Dang) and Tek Bahadur Balampakhi (Mahottari) as central members.
Gurung informed that party’s central advisors Wangdi Sherpa of Taplejung, Khem Subedi and Bhakta Bahadur Adhikari of Kanchanpur and Laxmi Shah of Kailali were also taken action. Likewise, Jaitun Khatun was also active on anti-party activities and removed from the party’s proportional list.
