Give capable candidates a chance: Rabi Lamichhane



Chitwan: Rastriya Swatantra Party Chairman Rabi Lamichhane has urged the voters to cast their ballot to his party and give capable candidates a chance.

In a talk with Rastriya Samachar Samiti (RSS), Lamichhane appealed with the voters not to be influenced or lured by any temptations and cast their vote fearlessly in the November 20 parliamentary elections.

Stating that the voters should elect those who could deliver to end nepotism and favoritism, the journalist-turned-politician asserted, “We are here to end nepotism and favoritism.”

According to him, the State was distancing from the ambit of general public every day and thereby urged the voters to vote for his party. The leader of the newly formed political party noted that the same faces were contesting from the old party in the election for the past 30 years and argued that the learned ones were not getting any opportunity due to syndicate in politics.

“From political party to the State organs, the capable ones should get a chance and for that the voters should elect the right leadership.”

The party, according to him, has pledged to deliver on a host of works such as setting up 250 megawatt solar energy plant, organizing Asia Business Conference annually, establishing another stock market, constructing Green Narayani Corridor with its corporate headquarters in Chitwan if it is elected in the upcoming twin elections.

Furthermore, he vowed to take zero-tolerance policy against corruption and said his party won’t spare anyone towards the corruption prevention. Furthermore, a 24-hour hotline service would be operated to receive complaints from citizens any time, he shared.

Free education up to higher secondary school, special identity card for the labourers and farmers, special desk to receive complaint from them, collaboration with entrepreneurs of small and medium enterprises (SMEs), hassle-free government office and service delivery, self-employment, fast-track court, border security and promptness in investigation of crimes are among the promises made by the party in its election manifesto.
