Kathmandu, Oct 9: The rising trend of gold prices in the international market has impacted the local market as well. Compared to Wednesday, the price of gold in Nepal increased by Rs 1,200 per tola today.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association (FENEGOSIDA), the price of gold, which was traded at Rs 238,000 per tola on Wednesday, has risen to Rs 239,200 per tola today.
The price of silver has also gone up. On Wednesday, silver was traded at Rs 2,955 per tola, while it is being traded at Rs 3,025 per tola today, the Federation said.
International media reports that gold is currently being traded at USD 4,055 per ounce in the global market.
